How would you describe your working style? Do you prefer to blend into the background to capture candid moments, or do you like to be more visible and take charge to choreograph images?
A combination of both!
For the ceremony and reception we like to let the moments unfold and blend in as much as possible, while capturing your essential moments. We find this is more authentic to the environment, which allows everyone to be themselves and feel the emotions of the moment.
However, for family photos and bridal portraits you’ll see us taking charge more as these portions of the day require more posing and instruction.
How will you and your assistants be dressed?
Business casual.
This style allows us to move and work efficiently while respecting the formality of your special day.
Do you offer retouching, adjustments and other colour correcting services?
Yes!
Every photo will have some retouching and adjustments to it. For specific requests such as acne removal or cosmetic retouching additional charges may apply.
Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
Yes!
For locations that exceed 25km of travel, photographers will require compensation for gas and travel time. Fee will depend on location and needs of the day.
Can we request a list of specific shots we would like?
Absolutely!
We are happy to capture specific shots. We ask that you give us the list of specific requests a week before the wedding for our preparation.
How much of a deposit do you require? When is it due?
We require a 30% non-refundable deposit fee to secure your wedding date and the full remaining amount a week before the wedding.
What is your refund or cancellation policy?
We understand that unforeseeable circumstances can come up. If you have to cancel, you will be refunded the remaining owing amount of your wedding package. We will however not refund the 30% deposit fee.
Will you have any assistants with you on our wedding day?
Yes! We are a husband and wife duo, which is especially helpful for getting ready shots, and capturing the many moments of your day.
Can I extend my session the day of?
Yes!
When a wedding is booked, we do not book any other events for that day. If you would like to add on a couple of hours a day, we are happy to do so with our hourly rate.
How long after the wedding do we have to wait to get our photos?
The length of time depends on the size of your wedding, length of day and time of year, but generally around 45 days.
How will we receive our photos?
Once your photos are ready, you will receive a link to a password-protected online gallery that has all of the finished photos from your wedding day. This gallery has an option to batch download all of your images as high-resolution digital files and web-sized files as well. You also have the option to download photos individually, which is a great way to share the images from your wedding with family and friends.
How many photos should we expect?
We don’t provide an expected number of photos with our collections because each wedding is different, and as a result, the number of photos from each wedding will be different.
Things like the size of your wedding party, number of guests, length of time allowed for portraits, number of locations, number of photographers, travel time between locations, etc.. all play their part in how many photos you will end up with.
